Start Up Triathlon is a 4-week training program designed for you who is thinking about how to start triathlon training. The content of this training program is varied and keeps training fun!

Who?

We believe that triathlon is a sport for everyone, and it is much easier to do than the common conception. Start Up Triathlon is perfect for you who,

  • Want to start triathlon training.
  • Is interested in the sport.
  • Appreciate a structured yet easy to follow training plan.

What?

In this 4-week training program, the focus is to get varied and fun workouts in all three disciplines of triathlon.

You choose how much you want to train on an average per week. Your training hours are split between swim, bike and run.

Your training program includes,

  • A weekly scheduled training program that will be sent to you every Sunday.
  • All training sessions are easy to understand and described in detail.
  • The content is varied and motivating to do.

All our training programs are developed by coaches who have many years of experience in both coaching and racing – for triathletes by triathletes.

When?

With that said, ideally – training starts now!

Next step after your Start Up training, would be our Keep Up Base program.

Training level

Level 1: This program starts with 2 hours of training the first week, and escalates to 4 hours of training during the last week.

Level 2: This program starts with 3 hours of training the first week, and escalates to 6 hours of training during the last week.

When you define your training level, our recommendation is,

  • Look at your typical week.
  • Determine how much time you can slot for training.
  • Be realistic…then go for it!

Equipment

Triathlon requires some gear. Here is a short list of the things you will need to be able to follow the program.

  • Swim: Swimsuit, goggles and swim cap
  • Bike: Bicycle and helmet or a gym-bike.
  • Run: Running shoes

    During the whole program have I felt taken care of and happy with my choice. TOT is a company that not only helps you with the training, they also help you in life by making you aware of your life situation, for example, “how stressed are you”, “how did you sleep?”. This has been so good for me and helped me realize that in order to do a good training session need I to be in balance in life, it´s not all about the training.

    I like the website much, the videos are professionally done and with instructions, that’s easy to follow.

    A big plus is the cheerful emails you receive each week containing the training program.

    TOT ENDURANCE is a very inspiring company! Triathlon is a lifestyle and if you sign up you will get a lot of information on the website, training programs and a diary where you fill in sleep quality, motivation, training quality, stress in life etc.

    Jag har valt att testa träningsupplägget “Start Up Triathlon level 2” vilket är ett program med många detaljer som verkligen hjälper en att välja rätt tidsramar för uppvärmning och nedvarvning och dylikt. Även mycket informativt hur själva träningspassen ser ut med avseende på intervaller och dyl inom t ex cyklingen. Ett stort plus (som jag inte har varit med om innan, även om jag använt mig av liknande tjänster) är självskattningen av t ex sömn, stress och motivation – superviktiga delar som verkligen hänger ihop och kan påverka träningen och vice versa. Jag kan rekommendera den här typen av både program och produkt då mixen av tillgänglighet samt detaljrikedom gör det enkelt för användaren att nå sina träningsmål.

    Jag gillade konceptet med mail med nya träningsuppgifter varje vecka… Det skapade en nyfikenhet inför kommande vecka. Personligen är jag dålig på uppvärming och nervarvning så där slarvade jag… Jag märkte resultat efter vecka 3 ungefär…
